MA in Catholic Studies

“As a Registered Nurse for many years, I always knew I wanted a master’s degree, but nothing was quite right for me, that is until I heard about Franciscan University and the MA in Catholic Studies. I knew immediately it was the right path for me. It led to a more grace filled life and honed my interpersonal skills, not to mention a new knowledge of all things Catholic which bursts forth day to day. One of my favorite aspects about the program was the discovery of how science and the Catholic church are completely harmonious with one another. I now spend my leisure time reading Catholic novels, Catholic poetry, and philosophy. I have discovered the gold standard which to compare all other things.

The Catholic Studies Program in an excellent way to tailor fit interests and career yielding an enriched life with deeper meaning. With an abundance of choice Catholic electives on top of a sound Catholic history and art theory, the boundaries are limitless and timeless. “
